Under new Ofcom rules, your existing broadband provider must supply you with a MAC code within 5 days. A new provider you choose, will ask for a MAC code, and will approximately take 7-10 days to change. It is also worth putting a note in your diary when your subscription is due for renewal or in 12 months time. This is lightning fast high-speed Internet but you may find that broadband availability for this speed is extremely limited.
